Participation in the drug detox program or alcohol detox program at New Life DetoxCenters is the first step to regaining a true sense of happiness in life. With either the alcohol detox program or drug detox program, physical dependency on chemicals is eliminated.
The New Life Detox Phase 1 Residential Alcohol and Drug Detox Program includes medical detoxification performed by licensed physicians to help individuals rid the body of chemicals trapped inside. With aid from trained professionals, the process is smooth and easy as possible — especially during early stages of recovery when uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms may be a hurdle. Experts at New Life Detox know this is a very difficult period on the road to recovery, so Phase 1 treatment includes supplemental reinforcement in both the drug detox program and alcohol detox program. Once chemical excretion occurs, cravings for substances diminish. New Life Detox then progresses participants to Phase 2 of the drug detox program or alcohol detox program.
The New Life Detox Phase 2 Residential Alcohol and Drug Rehab Program provides participants with the time they need to establish and solidify sobriety. After completion of the New Life Detox Phase 1 Residential Alcohol and Drug Detoxification Program, guests begin to notice that their mind feels a lot clearer compared to when they first started recovery. The goal of New Life Detox’s Phase 2 drug rehab program and alcohol rehab program is to guide individuals to live life happy again and free of alcohol or drug dependence. At this point, a steady supply of vitamins is administered to ease discomfort and agitation as people progress through the drug rehab program and alcohol rehab program. Continued use of prescription medications may also be utilized if the experienced New Life Detox medical team deems it necessary to further “clean” the body to aid development of a clear mind. By completion of the New Life Detox Phase 2 drug rehab program and alcohol rehab program, enrollees become more alert and aware of their environment, have sharper thinking abilities, and are not stuck in the fog that drugs and alcohol inflict.
New Life Detox’s Phase 3 Intensive Outpatient Counseling Program is an essential final step in New Life Detox’s recovery system that relies on guided drug and alcohol counseling. During this stage, an experienced New Life Detox drug and alcohol counselor helps to lock in results from the Phase 1 Residential Alcohol and Drug Detoxification Program and Phase 2 Residential Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Program. New Life Detox drug and alcohol counseling offers amazing drug education, as well as unique therapy to handle the mental state that often makes individuals want to abandon their recovery and again succumb to drug or alcohol cravings. Once physical dependency on chemicals has been controlled, a New Life Detox drug and alcohol counselor aids in the exploration of underlying, unresolved emotional and mental hurdles so those on the road to recovery remain free from the shackles that can keep persons from a true sense of happiness. This drug and alcohol counseling is based on the philosophy that incidents in a person’s past can cause an individual to become fixated on a negative thought or emotion, and constantly thinking about that adverse emotion or thought keeps people from living in the “present” and looking forward to a happy, healthy future.
